The TED® VFL is an essential tool for engineers to carry out on-site interventions. The visible light of the optical pen makes it possible to identify one fibre among others at the time of installation or maintenance. This light also highlights defects on the visible part of a fibre such as stresses (macro-curvatures) and continuity breaks.
