Eyebolt Expanding 2A
A dropwire fixing consisting of a Zinc plated steel eyebolt with an M10 thread. This is the preferred method of attaching a dropwire to the end user's premises, where the walls are rendered.
The eyebolt is suitable for fitting to brick or concrete construction through rendering/pebble-dash up to 20mm thick and has a rated minimum Safe Working Load of 2kN with a safety factor of 3:1 when the load is applied along the axis of the bolt, and at all angles up to 90 degrees to the axis of the bolt.
Technical Characteristics:
- Ring size:14mm
- Required Hole size: 16mm diameter x 95mm depth.
- These fixings are electric galvanised to (BS1706 (1990) or ISO4520)
- Zinc coating: 8-micron minimum
