Engines- The overall quality of mobile compressors is most affected by diesel engines. Therefore, models are chosen that provide ample power reserves. This guarantees reliability and the longest possible service life of the machine. The operating mode is set to the optimum area of the consumption curve thanks to the power reserve, which leads to very low overall fuel consumption.
Control system - The two-stage proportional control system of modern design is another feature that significantly reduces fuel consumption. The system precisely monitors the current compressed air consumption, thus optimising the energy input into the compressed air. This saves operators of a mobile compressor additional fuel costs.
Screw block - The screw blocks used for ATMOS mobile compressors guarantee long trouble-free operation during the entire life of the machine. The latest generation of screw profile developments has excellent properties in both efficiency and noise.
Protection system - The compressor protection system monitors the temperature of the engine coolant, lubrication pressure and oil temperature in the compressor. The machine is shut down if there is a non-standard operating condition.
Chasis- The chassis is certified for all types of EU regulations. The machines, which weigh more than 750 kg, are supplied with an overrun brake and automatic reverse, as well as with adjustable drawbar height. For smaller machines, this device is available on request.
Bodywork- The body of ATMOS mobile compressors reduces noise in accordance with the relevant EU environmental standards. Great attention has been paid to corrosion protection and has resulted in a new body protection system based on aluminium cladding.
Water separation - On request, efficient aftercoolers are supplied, in which an economizer and water separation are built. This device, which is placed on the roof of the compressor, delivers ultra-dry air for blasting and other applications where dry air is needed.
